A couple years ago I attended Comic Con in San Diego and stumbled upon this really groovy artist. He had a little stall in the artists section and somehow I was drawn into his work. He had a lot of interesting paintings up on his wall for sale and curiously I asked him about his process. We chatted about it for a while, turns out he uses oil paints as a sort of stain on wood panels to get the graininess of the wood to show through. Followed him on facebook for a while and it's amazing to see the turns he is taking in his work. I have to say I've always been really impressed by him and feel very honored to have met him.
He also does some photography and is currently experimenting with a spraypainting and silkscreening. Watch the video on his page it's amazinggg!
